Father’s Day Sunday Service

February Monthly Bible Study Retreat

Every month we’ll hold a Bible study retreat, a 3 day 2 night period when we lay down the worries and burdens of this world to focus on the Word of God alone. More than being a special ‘holy’ period, our church sets the traditional ‘Lent’ period as a time when we remember and meditate what Jesus Christ has done for us, fill up our hearts again with His sacrifice and love and re-commit ourselves to following in the Lord’s footsteps.

January Monthly Bible Study Retreat

At the end of each month in 2021 we’re holding a Bible study retreat where for 2-3 days, those who attend the retreat will immerse themselves in exposition of scripture and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.

The monthly retreats are for existing Bible study students, so if you’d like to join, contact us through Facebook or email well beforehand so that you can start joining the church Bible studies right away.

40 Days of Evangelism Begins (I)

Walk up evangelism

The period of 40 days is a meaningful season in the Bible that represents trial (eg. the flood in the time of Noah, and Jesus’ temptation in the desert), but also new beginnings after the trial.

Immanuel Church Sydney sets apart periods of 40 days throughout the year to pray for lost souls as well as unchurched Christians and do walk-up evangelism daily to find those who are thirsty for the Word of God as well as a church family.
